Our core class is designed to engage lumbar muscles (lower back) and abdominal muscles in a way that is effective and safe for your spine. Participants spend the majority of the class either laying on their tummy or on their back. Elevated mats are used so that no one has to get down to the floor. Participants who continually attend report less back pain, increased distance on their golf swings, improvement with incontinence issues and better endurance during times of prolonged walking or standing. People with osteoporosis and spinal stenosis need to be especially careful when choosing which exercises they perform and our instructors will guide them on what to avoid during the hour. Class is limited to only 10 participants.

Gentle water exercise to improve fatigue and enhance physical and psychological wellness.
No swimming skills required, but you must be comfortable in deep water.

• Please come at least 15 min. early to the first class to complete paperwork.
• Comfortable swimsuit, sunscreen, hat, and water bottle are strongly recommended; water shirt recommended but optional.
• We will be using water aerobics flotation belts, which are available online through Amazon and SwimOutlet.com (AquaJogger belts are not quite right – and more expensive); there will be some you can use.
